Celebrating America's independence from England, in England, is an odd experience. I wasn't sure how people were going to react to my little celebration. Thankfully, people seem to think it's water under the bridge and are happy to be friends with America! Like all great holidays, beer dip was a must. By this time in the year, beer dip had appeared at all important events and was expected on July 4th by my friends. My flatmate Eilidh has recently started a pinterest and had heaps of ideas about what we could make to celebrate! After working (Eilidh) and dissertation writing (me) we devoured the beer dip while watching The Sandlot (a classic) on our lunch breaks! After Eilidh was home for the night we walked to the posh grocery store to grab our cheesecake and decorations! Here's what we ended up with!
The only downside to this was our cheesecake failed epically when we were trying to cut it..
