Caramel Sauce! {gluten free/ dairy free/ egg free/ nut free}

Sometimes you just need caramel! Unfortunately, there's a lot of gunk that comes along with those.. Like cream and gluten..



What you need:
-1/2 cup full fat coconut cream (canned)
-1 cup brown sugar
-4 tbsp coconut oil
-1 tsp vanilla (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. The coconut cream will melt down. Whisk while brown sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes. The caramel will thicken, but it will also thicken more once removed from heat.

Final product! Perfect for fall!


Store in the fridge for up to one week.
